Monday 2/25 Hat Day If you read one book this month, you will get a ticket from your English teacher to wear a hat on this day.
Tuesday 2/26 Red Day – wear red for GET R.E.D.
Wednesday 2/27 Be a Laker, Be a Reader wear your Laker gear
Thursday  2/28Wild about Reading – Safari Day wear your animal prints or camouflage
Friday 3/1 Dr. Seuss Day, dress as Cat in the Hat

Third Quarter Conferences

Third Quarter conferences will be on Tuesday, February 26th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. TOMS conferences will be held in the lower level of the building. Sixth grade teachers will be available in the cafeteria area of the lower level, while the seventh and eighth grade teachers will be available in the gymnasium. Special Education Teachers, as well as our Guidance staff, will be available in the upper level of the building during conference times.  
We appreciate your support and look forward to meeting with you during Parent-Teacher Conferences.

TOMS Book Club Meets Friday, March 8th

Come join TOMS Book Club! We are reading Legend by Marie Lu. We'll meet Friday, March 8 after school in the TOMS Media Center from 2:25 - 3:25. Students should get permission slips from Mrs Bartholow in room 411. One lucky student will win a free copy of the sequel Prodigy.

Popular Author to Visit PLHS Saturday, March 9th

The author Jordan Sonnenblick is coming for a visit on Saturday, March 9th  at 1:00pm to Prior Lake High School!  He is best known for the books Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie, The Curveball, Zen and the Art of Faking it, and Notes from the Midnight Driver. Beginning Monday, February 25th students will be able to go to Savage or Prior Lake Public Libraries and pick up a voucher to receive a free book from the author visit!
