Parent Volunteers Needed



PBIS is looking for volunteers! If you are interested in helping organize fundraiser nights (Jimmy Johns or Applebee's) please contact Lana Beam (lbeam@priorlake-savage.k12.mn.us). It would require you to call Jimmy Johns/Applebee's and set up a date/time to have a TOMS fundraiser night and/or creating display boards with information for staff/students/parents. Please contact Lana Beam for more information!

Any TOMS students interested in joining yearbook club: Please plan to attend an informational meeting after school on Tuesday, September 25. Meet in room 411 from 2:25 to 3:00.

TOMS Students Invited to Earthlings Information Meeting



Become a Prior Lake Earthling!

Learn about nature, take field trips, work in a native garden, raise insects, care for animals, and help the middle schools Go Green. Earthlings meet on Mondays throughout the school year. Excused passes can be written if you are also in another sport that meets on Mondays. YOU MUST HAVE A RIDE HOME AT 3:15PM to participate in this program.

Please meet in at the Hidden Oaks fire pit on Monday, September 24th at 2:20pm to learn more about this club.

SPAN Meeting Tuesday October 23



SPAN (Synergy/SPAN Parent Action Network) is the Prior Lake/Savage chapter of Minnesota Council for the Gifted and Talented (www.mcgt.net ). SPAN hosts meetings throughout the school year with speakers and discussions focused on supporting gifted and talented children.  Please see our website at www.mcgt.net/priorlake ; we will be posting our meeting schedule for the school year soon.  Our first meeting will be on Tuesday October 23 at 7pm in the WestWood Media Center and will focus on our plans for the year as well as how the needs of gifted kids are being met at the elementary schools.  Elementary principals will be in attendance.  Please email Apryl at span@mchsi.com with questions and/or to be included on the SPAN email list.

Washington DC Trip Meeting


There is a MANDATORY meeting for all participants going on the Washington D.C. trip. The meeting is on Tuesday, October 2nd from 6-7 p.m. in the Twin Oaks Auditorium. For more information, visit Mr. Dapper’s website and select “8th Grade Washington D.C. Trip.

TOMS Back to School Bash This Friday

Celebrate back to school at the TOMS Back to School Bash this Friday, September 21st from 2:30-4:00.  Activities will include a bouncy house, movie, open swim, dodge ball, basketball and music.  Concessions will be for sale.  Submit your permission slip and $5.00 entrance fee in advance.
