TOMS 8th Grade WEB Leaders

WEB students brought in meat, cheese, and bread and made over 300 sandwiches to donate to 365 days Food program.   Allan Law, founder, delivers sandwiches to homeless people in Mpls every night.

Conference treats In appreciation for the extra time that TOMS teachers and staff put in during conferences, we are planning a night of holiday treats for Thurs. Dec. 5th.  Please consider bringing cookies, brownies, bars, etc. to make their night extra sweet.  The teachers and staff will be very grateful! You can drop off your items in the teacher's lounge/office before 2:00pm on Dec. 5th and pick up any containers after 6:30pm or on Friday.  If at all possible, please use disposable containers to help minimize clean-up.

TOMS Students Attend AMLE Conference

Recently, Guidance Counselor Correne Larsen took five 8^th Grade students to the 40^th Annual Conference for the American Middle Level Educators (AMLE) held at the Minneapolis Convention Center with approximately 5000 people in attendance from around the world.  The students presented on a panel regarding what makes a good middle level educator.  The audience for the panel included future educators and those within the first couple of years in the profession.

The picture is in front of the MN Middle School Association booth as we were the host state.  Dr. Dan Edwards is a member of the MMSA board of directors and current president.

Our students represented Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools in a very positive way!
