SPAN Upcoming Meeting

SPAN (Synergy/SAGE Parent Action Network) will have our next meeting on Thursday Feb. 12, 2015 at 7pm in the WestWood Media Center.  The meeting will feature a roundtable discussion on intensities (overexciteabilities). The meeting is open to everyone. We encourage attendees to read about intensities before attending the meeting.  You will find 2 articles on the topic at our website. TOMS Fundraiser

Support your child's school AND shop local.  *New this year* - Eileen's Colossal Cookies in Prior Lake is our vendor for the upcoming Cookie Dough Fundraiser, sponsored by the TOMS Parent Advisory Group.

• 7 varieties of dough
• Eileen's famous frosting is also available for order!
• All dough made fresh to order
• $13.50/3# of dough - enough to make 3 dozen cookies
• Dough can be frozen for up to 3 months

How to place an order:

·         Print attached order form

·         Turn in your order form and money beginning January 23^rd to the Main Office at TOMS

·         Order forms and money can be also turned in the Main Office every day through January 28^th. 

Important dates to remember:

• January 22nd is the first day to order – order form attached (extra forms can be found in the school office)
• January 28th is the final day for order forms/money to be turned in to the TOMS office
• February 22nd from 12noon - 3pm - order pick-up at Eileen's Colossal Cookies in Prior Lake

Prior Lake National Honor Society is helping kids feel loved this Valentine's Day! Bring a NEW Stuffed Animal to the donation box located in front of the Guidance Office.  Donation drive runs now through February 6th! All Stuffed Animal donations will go to the St. Paul Children's Hospital.

TOMS Volunteer Opportunity

We have two volunteer opportunities coming up at TOMS. While they are both for the 6^th grade class, we’d love to get help from 7^th and 8^th grade parents too. 

Tuesday January 27^th

Phy. Ed. Department Donation

Twin Oaks Phy. Ed. Teachers are looking for old/broken hockey sticks to donate to the Phy. Ed. Department.  The sticks can be composite, aluminum, or wood.  Size of the stick can be intermediate or senior.  Flex does not matter.

Please bring donations to the main office at TOMS.

Buck Hill in Burnsville gives students the opportunity to experience a lifetime activity that can be done in the winter.

School Close Today

Due to cancellation of school with dangerously cold temperature and wind chill warnings.  Tomorrow, January 8^th will be Day 1 in our every other day cycle.

MS Ski Club CANCELLED TODAY

Due to the temperature and wind chill, elementary & middle school ski club has been cancelled for Monday, January 5th.  New Ski date is January 12^th with our last date of February 23^rd.
