TOMS Box Tops for Education!

It's time to start thinking Box Tops for Education!  Our next contest begins February 18th. 

The primetime classroom to collect the most Tops by February 26th will win a tasty treat (compliments of PACT - Parents Assisting Children and Teachers).  Be sure to send clipped Tops with your child to their primetime class. 

Those little Tops add up and help fund important educational materials at TOMS.  Our contest last fall earned over $550!

We are looking for volunteers to help with HEIGHT/WEIGHT/SCOLIOSIS Screening for 6th grade students at Twin Oaks Middle School.

2014 Verizon Innovative App Challenge

Twin Oaks Middle School student team has been selected as a Best in State winner in the 2014 Verizon Innovative App Challenge.

The students' app concept, Student Central, earned top points for its creativity, innovative design, and application of STEM principles to the development process. Student Central is an interactive app concept that incorporates educational games based on STEM, messaging for the sustainment of social health, discussion rooms for assignments and more.  

Congratulations to teacher Megan Luckhardt and students: Max Devos, Anthony Martins, Carter Busch, James Durnbaugh, Ryan Fuller and Tristan Knoeck. 

The team now moves on to the Best in Region phase of the judging. Winning teams will be announced in February.
