Health Office, Summer School, & Summer T.N.T Program

Any medications brought to the health office this year for your student will need to be picked up by the end of the school day on June 9th.    Non-emergency medications (i.e. Tylenol, etc.) may be picked up earlier than June 9th.
NOTE:  Controlled medications cannot be sent home with students.

Should your child require medication for next fall (including Tylenol, Ibuprofen, dietary supplements, non-prescription medications, lotions, etc.), please have your licensed prescriber fill out the front portion of the medication authorization form (found on the district website) at your convenience this summer.   A parent/guardian must sign the back of the medication authorization form.
Note:  Controlled substances must be brought in by parent/guardian versus by student.

If your student had medication and/or emergency action plans in the health office this year, new forms for next year will be sent home before the end of this school year.

Have a healthy, enjoyable summer.

Speech Camp

Learn how to do what others fear most.

Join us this summer during a week long experience to help offer training, guidance, and help with public speaking for future speech team hopefuls! Current members will help new speakers improve their skills, and prepare them for Speech Team auditions in November.  Students will learn how to write their own speeches, present using characters, and read a script, all while learning about the different categories competitive speech has to offer! At the end of the week, speakers will present their speeches to friends and family to show what they have learned!

Monday, August 1st- Friday, August 5th from 8am-12pm each day.
Location:TBD

See the community Education Book or visit priorlake-savage.ce.feepay.com or contact Nick Ingles for more information and to sign up!

2016 Soles 4 Souls Fundraiser

May 9th - 13th
Soles4Souls is a non-profit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
They believe in honest, accountable, and meaningful work.
Soles4Souls goals are creating jobs, serving those in need, maintaining environmental sustainability and creating healthy communities. Their goal is to eliminate extreme poverty by 2050.

Twin Oaks students will be collecting gently used pairs of shoes during next week (May 9th through 13th.) There will be collection bins for each grade and teachers outside of the guidance office. If a grade wins, their primetimes will be entered into a contest for treats during primetime. If teachers win, there will be treats in the staff lounge. If TOMS can collect 1,000 pairs of shoes - slightly more than one pair per student, we will have a 7th hour assembly with a lip-sync battle.
