Quick Guide
to the Parent Portal
Communicating with parents is important to us.
That’s why we use the following online tools to help us communicate student
progress and information on a day-to-day basis.
Located at the top of the website at www.priorlake-savage.k12.mn.us,
the Parent Portal contains quick links, all on one page, to the most frequently
needed sites for your student. The following is a breakdown of online tools
parents use on a regular basis.
Infinite Campus is
our Student Information System that houses bus stop schedules (available August
23), official grades, class schedules for grades 6-12, attendance, health and
contact information.
Schoology is our Learning
Management System (LMS) that serves as a communication tool for teachers,
students and parents. On Schoology, you will find classroom updates,
assignments, a calendar of events, study guides, quizzes/tests and interactive
discussions.
FeePay is where you register and pay
for activities, meals, Community Education classes, Kids’ Company, Circle of
Friends Preschool, field trips and more.
In order to access your student(s) information,
you need to create an account with each of these programs. Our Information
Technology Department will be on hand at the following events to assist parents
with login instructions.
August 15, 4-8 p.m.
iPad rollout night at Hidden Oaks for 8th grade
August 16, 4-8 p.m.
iPad rollout night at Twin Oaks for 8th grade
August 17, 1-8 p.m. Important for kindergarten
parents
Technology Open House at the District Services
Center, 4540 Tower Street SE, Prior Lake
August 22, 4-8 p.m.
iPad rollout night at PLHS for new PLHS
students
August 25
- 6th Gr. WEB parent meeting, 8 a.m.
- Picnic at Twin Oaks(6:00pm) for new Middle School families
- New to the District MS Family Technology Meeting 7:00pm in the Media Center
August 31 (times vary by building)
