Middle School Students Fill 147 Boxes
Middle school students filled care packages
for Operation Send a Smile on Wednesday.
Students led by Mr. Wabbe packed 147 boxes containing donated items such as candy, gum, toothpaste, drink mixes and notes of encouragement to 11 different soldiers serving our country overseas. A special thanks goes out to the students, Mr Wabbe, families who donated and to community members who will ship the packages. This year's drive far exceeded last year's numbers.
SPAN
SPAN (Synergy/SAGE Parent Action Network) will
have its next meeting on Th. Jan. 10 at 7pm in the WestWood Media Center.
Our focus will be on middle school advanced programming. Dan Edwards,
principal at TOMS, Sasha Kuznetsov, principal at HOMS, and a selection of
teachers of advanced classes will be in attendance to discuss the differences
between advanced sections and regular sections of their courses. Please
