On behalf of the school, we would like to thank you for
keeping all of your Box Tops for Education and sending them to school with your
children! With your help, we were able to purchase twelve oak trees to be
planted in the school yard Tuesday, May 21st. Several students have
volunteered to help with this activity, and are excited to bring some oaks to
Twin Oaks! In addition to the twelve trees that will be planted at
school, we were given a generous donation from Scott County of 900 swamp oak
tree saplings that will be sent home with students this week.
Attached in a parent list serve will be a direction sheet that will guide you/your
students in planting and caring for the tree.
