6th -7th -8th graders and their parents/guardians interested
in robotics are invited to the Middle School robotics program information
night
Thursday Sept 26th , 7pm at the PLHS commons.
The middle school robotics program
uses the VEX robotics platform and follows the principles of FIRST, For
Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. The mission
of FIRST “is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by
engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering
and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded
life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.”
