TOMS Fall Athletic Opportunities




6th – 8th grade girls fall athletic opportunities: 

Girls Tennis Located at the courts at Twin Oaks Middle School.  Practice will be Monday-Friday 2:30-4:00pm.  A competition t-shirt will be sold for a fee of $10.  There will be an informational meeting on Sept. 3 located in the downstairs lobby at Twin Oaks Middle School.  Fee for tennis is $110.

Girls Swimming:   Practices are Monday-Friday at Twin Oaks Middle School or Hidden Oaks Middle School from 2:30-4:00. There will be an informational meeting on Sept. 3 at 2:30 at TOMS pool.  Fee for swimming will be $110.


7th & 8th grade activity opportunity:

Lakers Trap Shooting Club has expanded its Prior Lake High School trap shooting program to include 7th & 8th grade Prior Lake – Savage students. LTSC is working to develop future members for their high school team. The top 5 shooters at the end of the 8 week program will be eligible to register and compete with the high school team during the spring season.

Student-athletes will be required to have a Minnesota Firearms Safety Certificate,  their own shotgun and shells (enough for two 25 target rounds per week), pay the $5.00 per round range fee and have a parent or adult family member in attendance at all times. Students must meet the same academic and discipline requirements for any student athlete that participates in PLHS sports.

Shooting will be at the Minneapolis Gun Club which is the home club for the PLHS Lakers Trap Shooting Club. The students will shoot on the following dates rain or shine: 8 Tuesdays starting on September 3rd starting at 3:30. Shooting will only be interrupted for lightning or hail.
