LAKERS Weekly Winners

At TOMS we expect our students and staff to meet our LAKERS expectations.  What does it mean to be LAKERS?  It is fairly simple.  LAKERS are….Learners who are Accountable for their behaviors; Kind to all, put Effort into their work; have Respect for self and others; and are Safe at all times.

One way that we celebrate students demonstrating these expectations is for staff members to “catch them in a LAKERS moment” and give them a LAKERS ticket.  This small token is to recognize students throughout the day that are doing the “right thing”.  Each day several students, throughout each grade level, receive these tickets.  Some take them home, while most put their ticket into their grade level box in the office for our weekly LAKERS drawing.  Each Wednesday is TOMS’s LAKERS day.  Staff can be seen wearing LAKERS colors and of course, we have our weekly LAKERS ticket drawing for prizes.  Below you will see the weekly winners, that represent the dozens….and dozens of students that also receive LAKERS tickets throughout the week.  Way to go TOMS!!
